NO UNIFORM DAY FRIDAY 15TH DECEMBER & CHRISTMAS FOOD APPEAL ON BEHALF OF THE

MEADOWBROOK CONFERENCE OF THE SOCIETY OF ST. VINCENT DE PAUL

Dear Parents,

Christmas is fast approaching and we are very aware that for many of our families it will be a difficult Christmas financially. Therefore, the need for those of us who “have” to share with those who “have less or little” is greater than ever.

We will have our usual “No Uniform Day” on Friday 15th December when children will be asked to bring in some of their own money to share with those who are less fortunate.

This year again, following consultation with the local Meadowbrook conference of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, we are asking the children to bring in items for Christmas Hampers.

SOME SUGGESTIONS AS TO SUITABLE ITEMS FOR THE CHRISTMAS HAMPERS …

The children may bring in any of the above items from tomorrow, Tuesday 12th December up to and including Tuesday morning  December 19th.

If you wish to take this opportunity to make your own donation to the society you are most welcome to do so. All cash and cheques received will be passed on directly to the St. Attracta’s Conference of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. Please put donations in a sealed envelope and send them in to the class teacher.

Thanking you in anticipation!!
